Open House 2014
Come to the CNS Center Open House on Monday, November 30th!
Every year, the Cyberinfrastructure for Network Science Center hosts an open house where members of the IU community can learn more about the exiting work and research in data and information visualization currently underway at the CNS Center.
Guests are invited to explore the center’s recent visualization projects, talk with researchers from the center, and engage in hand-on demonstrations. Drinks and snacks will be served, and family members are welcome to attend.
The Cyberinfrastructure for Network Science Center, created by founding director Dr. Katy Börner, aims to promote the research and development of information and data visualization by advancing tools and services for the study of biomedical, physics, behavioral science, and other scientific networks. The center works with clients from both the public and private sector to develop innovative data visualization applications and regularly hosts workshops, conferences, and talk series.
The open house will take place on Monday, November 30, 2015, from 4:00 – 6:00p.m., at the Social Science Research Commons, located in Woodburn Hall. Those who are interested but cannot attend in-person will be able to stream the event live by visiting the CNS Open House page.
Come visit the open house and learn more about the exciting research taking place within the field of information visualization at the CNS Center!
