SLIS Dean Blaise Cronin's talk "Eros Unbound: Pornography and the Internet" was covered in the University of Oxford's newsletter Blueprint. The talk was presented at a seminar at the Oxford Internet Institute, University of Oxford, United Kingdom on October 26, 2006.
In his talk, Cronin "examined the emergence of mass markets for pornography and how the Internet had contributed to what has been described as 'a progressive sexualisation of the public sphere'." He concluded that "Internet pornography is a multi-faceted topic - one that may make some people uncomfortable, but not one that can be ignored."
