Bill Meehan, an MLS student in the special collections specialization, will present a paper at the 46th annual Preconference of the Rare Books and Manuscript Section (RBMS) of the Association of College & Research Libraries(ACRL), a division of the American Library Association (ALA), at Washington University in St. Louis on June 21-24.
The paper, Why Special Collections Exhibition Curators Must Consider the Audience: A Tutorial, originated in research undertaken in L587: Rare Books Libraries and Librarianship, taught by Joel Silver.
In addition, Meehan's essay Valedictory Voyage, a review of Miles Gone By: A Literary Autobiography by William F. Buckley Jr., appears in The Intercollegiate Review Vol. 40 No. 1, Fall/Winter 2004: 58-60.
